Smoky Mountain Social is hands down is the best place to play social sports or host a sports tournament. The staff is amazing and works with you to exceed your expectations. It is also the home of the best Ball Park in Knoxville. (TristarPark at Badgett Field) . They have multiple fields for baseball/softball, soccer, and sand volleyball and their prices are more than fair.

Best place to play sports in town. They are one of the only privately owned fields left in town. Offer a wide variety of sports. A really good concession stand. Most of all they give back to the community as well.

This place has been a home away from home for me. The owners genuinely cared about their players as people and went above and beyond on every little detail. The change in ownership has ruined everything. I have had numerous issues with a particular player and have attempted to avoid him at all costs, even refusing to play against him unless absolutely necessary. He has been banned/suspended from many leagues and tournaments and was placed on probation last season for intentionally trying to hurt me. Today, said player picked up in a game against me intentionally. During the game, I moved to 1B everytime he was at bat in order to avoid him. He made statements such as "You can't avoid me all season" prior to attempting ANOTHER hit at me. No one "accidentally" hits to first base. Still yet, it was deemed as not premeditated. This person gets the league free toiletries and decidedly gets away with whatever he wants, and is even rewarded with a potential position. My response to this occurrence was not proper, so I do apologize for that. But, if you want to play softball and avoid drama, this is not the place to go.

I have been a part of social league sports for over 5 years here in Knoxville. Iβm a softballer first but I have tried other sports like bowling, kickball, dodgeball, and sand volleyball. I was a long time member over 30 seasons playing multiple sports for a different league but made to switch over to Smokey Mountain Social at its inception. This is a players ran league whoβs leaders listen to suggestions are always growing and adapting to changes. In its Sophomore season (summer 2019) the energy of the staff, morale of the members and the sheer vibe is that we are a part of something very special. I have dozens of friends I have made playing in the these leagues and if you are willing to try and find your place then you will have a great time! I was very surprised to read the bad review and I know that not everyone will hit it off with a team that you come into for the first time but I would urge that person to try again and certainly do not blame the league for your first time not being perfect... SMS if you see this keep up the great work! You got a member for life here.
